GDM Food Pantry

Pantry Birth and History

Great Day Ministries Food Pantry was born through the Vision and Leadership of our own Elder Richardson and Blessed by Pastor Dexter L. Polnitz. A vision that fulfill the goal of our church motto "To affect our community and it's surroundings, by restoring faith."

The GDM Food Pantry goal is to supply a needed service to our community we are a ministry both the Body and Spirit which feeds.

Many of the pantry volunteers which use to be pantry clients use many services of the available food pantries of New Jersey, to feed their own families now we service the community by working the South Jersey Food Bank. We receive food from both the TEFAP "Emergency Food Assistance Program" and the State Food Purchase Program, as well as donated food. Which is shared within the Camden and Burlington Area.

We Serve With the Purpose of  Our Lord with Great Joy!

To Serve with the Spirit of Love and Joy. Which will allow us to Serve our Community with One Mind, One Spirit and One Vision. Heb 10:24-25 (KJV) "And let us be moving one another at all times to love and good works; Not giving up our meetings, as is the way of some, but keeping one another strong in faith; and all the more because you see the day coming near."

To affect our community and it's surroundings, by restoring faith which will bring about a better understanding of God and his purpose for His people through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

GDM Food Pantry is a community service ministry. Our purpose is to provide knowledge, the purpose of God and food to those in need within our surrounding area. Deut. 15:11 (KJV) "For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land."  We are good Stewards of God's Word and we serve with joy.
